 Course Description

The presentation will provide an overview of the characteristics of tinnitus and educate audiologists on how to develop management strategies for their patients. This session will review tinnitus testing procedures as well as intervention methods.

 Course Objectives

As a result of this course, participants will be able to:

1)    Identify and describe the causes of tinnitus.

2)    Describe testing procedures for tinnitus patients.

3)    Develop intervention and management strategies for patients diagnosed with tinnitus.

Biographical Information

Natalie Phillips, AuD: Natalie Phillips is the owner of the Audiology Center of Northern Colorado, LLC. Through her practice she provides diagnostic services including audiometry, electrophysiology, auditory processing, cochlear implants, tinnitus, sound sensitivity, and balance evaluations. Dr. Phillips received her AuD from the University of Florida and has conducted extensive research on tinnitus treatment and management strategies.
